I am an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. Not only does that mean I can legally officiate your wedding, but it means I went through rigorous education and preparation to make your day sacred and special.
A wedding officiant’s purpose is to set the tone and hold the space for your wedding ceremony. You need someone calm, prepared, and good at public speaking.
I have experience officiating weddings and presiding over other ritual spaces including Unitarian Universalist, Christian, interfaith, multicultural, and secular. I hold a Master of Divinity in Ministerial Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. I have over eight years of preaching experience as well as experience in ritual creation, pastoral care, and communications.
As your officiant, I am available for unlimited conversations before the ceremony, a custom script that embodies who you are as the couple, pre-wedding coordination with your other vendors, travel time and facilitation of your rehearsal, officiating your ceremony (!), and filing legal documents.
I charge a flat rate of $1,000 for the above services, plus travel and lodging, if applicable.
